Hey Blissful friends! This week I am playing along with the Scraps of Color "Embossing" challenge. I thought it would be fun to surprise a few of my friends and my Dad with one of these altered tins. Yes, those are yummy Hershey's nuggets all wrapped up in scrapbook paper...popped them in the mail yesterday and can't wait for them to arrive! For more info on making these tins, see this earlier post here.
I used my Sizzix Big Kick and Darice Embossing Folders to create the backgrounds for the tags. So simple but the results are really pretty!
I haven't tried heat embossing yet but am looking forward to it! What's your favorite embossing technique?
Thanks for stopping by!
Dry embossing is my favorite, but I also do some heat embossing.
ReplyDeleteI like your boxes of candy very much. I'm sure the recipients will love them.
I am going to have to try heat embossing soon!
DeleteWhat a kind gesture, like your tins! My favorite is dry embossing, i have yet to try wet.
ReplyDeleteThank you Treva, I think my friends enjoyed their little surprise ;)
DeleteReally cute idea Kimberly. Almost too cute to eat! Great job!
ReplyDeleteI thought so too Edie!
DeleteThis is really cute! I know your Dad loved this! And for embossing love all kinds, but heat embossing is my favorite! It doesn't get "old" for me! Thanks for participating in this week's challenge!
ReplyDeleteHi NC Peach! Yes, my dad was too excited about his little treat, thank you for stopping by my blog!
